The only problem with this book series is I need more! Might of the Dragon (Dragon Riders of Elantia Book #3) is the best in the series so far. I read it in under 24 hours.I would recommend this series if you are looking for a new fantasy or dragon series.Minimal spoilers below……..…………………………………………………………………………….………………….……………..…………..………..……..…..…Zara and Lessie are back and trying to evade the bad people that are coming at them from all angles. This book is fast-paced and has a lot of action.Some things to expect: dragons, new love interest, war with bordering lands, noble court events, ongoing nefarious plans, and more.This book is part of an ongoing series. If you are looking for closure at the end, you will not get it yet. I wouldn’t recommend starting with this book as you will miss key information from the previous books.Parental warnings/trigger advisory: a couple swear words, drugs that are used to drug other people, death, war, stealing, and a kiss.*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, however I also (purchased) the book.
I started reading hoping for one type of story only to be surprised with a better one. 3 books in and I really need to know what's next! Also, yay for the little event at the end! No spoilers, but, finally!! I got the first couple as an ARC but this one I bought. Start at the beginning, this book fits in, was great, and I devoured it in less than a day!
On the brink of war, Zara and her dragon is send to the channels to overlook the Traggaren floating army. Due to military orders and male overconfidence (... It's a real thing people!), she ends up on the ground and back in the grasps of Salcombe.Still, Zara doesn't stop trying to save everyone, stop a war, and a dragon God from being resurrected, while at the same time trying to keep her head out of prison. - but, she'd be the women for it!
I have very much enjoyed this series. The characters are fully fleshed out, the plot great, and the dialogue is fun, what more can you ask for? I'm definitely rooting for a certain mage, that was a nice development, and I loved the bond between Lessie and Zara. Very nice, I'll be reading the next book!
I'm a huge fan of dragonrider books! This is a great series, and it's extremely well written! The characters, dialog, and action are fantastic! I can't wait for book 4, I already pre-ordered it! I highly recommend checking this series out!
I love the characters, the interaction between them. I also love when reality sets in and things go horribly wrong. Life is like that and we choose how we are going h to continue on. Thanks for writing this series!!!!!
Jessica Drake's Dragon Riders of Elantia Series is extremely entertaining and this book Might of the Dragon keeps one on the edge of your seat as do the first two, but the momentum keeps building. Hate to see each one end. Be sure to read them in order.
Enjoyed the series of stories, each and everyone. Author is excellent at keeping your attention and interesting,likeable characters keep you longing for more. Can not wait for next book. Did not want to put this book down until ending.
